Intellectual Property Policy

Authors retain the proprietary rights to their works and grant REMUS the non-exclusive right to publish and distribute them in any electronic or printed medium, provided that the integrity of the text is respected and the original publication is acknowledged.

By submitting a manuscript, authors agree that, if approved and published, REMUS will have the right to publicly distribute it under the terms of its editorial policy and open license.

All content published in REMUS is protected under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, which permits:

  • Sharing (copying and redistributing the material in any medium or format).
  • Adapting (remixing, transforming, and building upon the material for any purpose, even commercially).

Provided that appropriate credit is given to the author and the journal, a link to the license is provided, and any changes are indicated. No additional restrictions may be imposed.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their work:

  • Is original and does not infringe third-party rights.
  • Has not been previously published or is under review by another journal.
  • Properly includes third-party sources, images, graphs, figures, or tables with the corresponding permissions, if applicable.

REMUS has exclusive rights granted by the National Copyright Institute (INDAUTOR) under number 04-2022-052718330800-102, which supports its institutional and academic nature.
