Abstract

COPD is one of the leading causes of mortality worldwide. It is a preventable disease, which is why its management involves non-pharmacological measures that are just as important as pharmacological ones. In general, the evaluation covers several aspects that allow the determination of each patient’s severity and, therefore, the assignment of the most favorable management option.
