Abstract

The advance of the times has brought with it the advance of our society, and with it the beginning of the depathologization and visibility of minorities, as is the case of the transgender community, a process that has a long way to go, but in which They have been able to make significant progress. Specifically in the area of health, the lack of research and, therefore, lack of knowledge have given way to ignorance and the propagation of stigmas among workers, which can deteriorate the level of care received by trans people and even completely prevent access to it. . Basic knowledge of concepts related to the care of transgender people can make a significant difference in their health care and, therefore, in their general well-being.
